Sam sets out to document what Aunt Daniele and her lesbian-feminist friends – the Songbirds- did in the church of Évreux in 1976—and why no one in the family wants to talk about it to this day. A thread of queer-feminist struggles and solidarities unfolds, reaching from the 1970s into the present.

Meanwhile, in São Paulo, Elisa decides that wage labour is a waste of life time. Instead, she heads to the beach and throws herself into a romantic adventures. Let‘s unwind together with her and savour the moment.

PINK CHEEK zooms us with ist fabulously drawn animation into experiencing neurodivergent cruising—and an experience in its own right for the audience, too!

The programme continues with a charmingly animated autoethnographic quest: Cecile Fountain-Jardim traces the life of her uncle Doug, who died of AIDS before she was born and whose story is intimately bound up with her own.

In ABJAD HAWAZ, the Arabic alphabet is danced in order to reclaim the enchanting beauty of the language through other means.

And, finally, in TMWYH we shiver with Thea Ehre as she makes her way through Vienna at night.
